We ate at this place 3 times--excellent seafood. We thought the sign was a misprint, but they usually do have 9 pound lobsters! Largest they had when we were there was 6 pounds.

Barbara, friend Kate, Cindy and Susan. We met Kate when we lived in York, Maine in 1981, and have been friends since then. Susan, Cindy and Barbara flew up for a 4-day weekend. They stayed with Kate and her family Friday and Sunday nights and kidnapped her for a girls only adventure on Saturday. It was a wonderful trip.

This is some of the members of out quilt group. I'm in the back row, right. The red quilt we're working on is almost finished (and will be raffled), and the one on the wall is in the sewing stages. The white on the wall is flannel, allowing us to move the blocks around. A few have fallen off.

We started lighting the fires at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23. We had 7 kettles cooking about 7 hours. While we waited for the coals to get hot we also cooked breakfast inside.

This is the Christian camp at Doe River Gorge, located about a mile east of here. They had an open house with a train ride through the gorge that we enjoyed. The train cars in the picture are bunk rooms. The camp also had a beautiful, huge cabin with bunks and lots of really fun things to do. Sure better than any camp we'd ever seen before!

The last of this year's autumn pictures. We thought they were gorgeous, but so many folks have told us the color wasn't very good this year. Maybe next year will be even better! We've replaced the screen in the door. Blackie, our lab, was not happy when the neighbor's 3 dogs showed up in our yard.
